  when my JW dad died 5 years ago--i checked his will--and no mention was made of funeral arrangements. I was glad of that--the last thing i wanted was a jw propaganda opportunity.

  As far as i am aware--he had no visits from any JW elders for over a year--and his jw grandkids ( my kids ) had never been near him--no letters --nothing.

  so i arranged a very simple committal at the crematorium---no religious service-and i was his only relative there--plus 2 of my friends and 2 staff from the care home . There were no jw's there--probably because i never told any of them.

  i think of my dad most days--and that is my definition of life after death---the dead live on in other peoples memory--till they are also gone.

  What Will Happen If You Do NOT Get The Covid Vaccinations?

  we are encouraged to all, if possible, get the vaccinations.

  if you don’t, we are told that we definitely could get the virus.

  fair enough.. but what happens if you decide you aren’t going to get the shots?

  its been strangely quiet on here lately about covid..or isnt it news any more.

  the " not a pandemic" brigade have been noticably absent about the situation in india..

  gives a figure of approx 202,000 deaths from Covid in India which according to my calculations is nearly 15 out of 100,000, which is getting close to the TB figure of 19 per 100,000.

  what--15 out of 100,000 population ? that cant possibly be right.

  much discussion now about the fallout that is coming due to impacts of the pandemic combined with the long-term downward spiral of jw.org.

  i am active as a pimo and my wife is pimi....much of our personal conversation and conversation with others in jw land focuses on how things will play out for jw.org in the next 12-24 months.
